Savoury Pastry
Gorgeous Roasted Red Pepper, Goat’s Cheese and Basil pastry, served with dollops of our Caramelised Red Onion Relish with Black Garlic,

Caramelised Onion with Black Garlic Relish

1 pack (approx 320g) Shop bought ready rolled puff pastry1 of each Red and yellow bell peppers sliced thinly1 Red onions sliced1 Round goats cheese log Bunch Fresh Basil1 jar Our Caramelised Red Onion Relish with Black Garlic

- Cut pastry into 12 cm squares.
- Toss peppers and onions in oil.
- Place in centre of pastry 3 cms from edge, cook blind for 10 mins at high heat, then add the goats cheese to centre on top of vegetables.
- Put back in oven for 6 mins or until pastry nicely browned and goats cheese cooked but not too runny (grill can work for this as well).
- Remove and place on wire tray to cool. Add dollops of our Caramelised Red Onion Relish with Black Garlic and the fresh basil leaves.
