3 Large Cooking apples5 tbsp Folláin Strawberry or Raspberry Jam200g (7 oz) Plain flour55g (2 oz) Sugar55g (2 oz) Dark muscovado sugar (or dark brown sugar)30g (1 oz) Porridge oats85g (3 oz) Butter or margarine1 tbsp Cinnamon

- Preheat the oven to 180 ºC/350 ºF/gas mark 4.
- Peel, core and slice the apples and place in a saucepan with 2 tablespoons of water and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
- Cook slowly over low heat, stirring now and then until the apples are soft and mushy (about 10 minutes).
- Place the apple pulp in an ovenproof dish and allow it to cool.
- When it has cooled, cover with a thin layer of Folláin Jam.
- Mix the flour, sugar, butter or margarine, oats and cinnamon together with your fingertips to form small crumbs.
- Sprinkle onto the top of the prepared apples and jam.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40 – 45 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Serve with fresh whipped cream or ice cream.

Method
