Blackcurrant and Soy Marinade

3 tablespoons Folláin's Traditional Blackcurrant Jam2 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)1 tablespoon hoisin sauce2 teaspoons sesame oil2 cloves garlic, minced1 inch piece of ginger, grated1 tablespoon rice vinegarJuice of half a lime1 teaspoon five-spice powder1 finely chopped shallotA pinch of ground black pepper

- In a bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of our Blackcurrant Jam, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, lime juice, five-spice powder, chopped shallot, and black pepper.
- Whisk all the ingredients together until all of the ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
