Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Folláin's Traditional Blackcurrant Jam
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 1 finely chopped shallot
  • A pinch of ground black pepper

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of our Blackcurrant Jam, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, lime juice, five-spice powder, chopped shallot, and black pepper.
  2. Whisk all the ingredients together until all of the ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
