Baked Oats
Can’t beat oats to keep us warm during those cold mornings but can quite bland.
We’ve added our twist to the classic morning porridge.
Our baked oat variations are like feasting on breakfast cake!

Caramel with Irish Cream Liqueur

- No Peel Marmalade - nothing but fruit,
- Blackcurrant Jam - nothing but fruit or
- Strawberry Jam

100g Flahavans Oats120ml milk of choice2 tblsp of honey1 banana1 egg½ tsp of vanilla extract (optional)1 tsp of baking powderPinch of salt2 Ramekins, buttered

- Pre-heat oven to 190c/170c fan/gas 5.
- Combine all the ingredients in a high speed blender and blend for 1 minute.
- Pour the batter into 2 buttered ramekins and customise each serving by adding berries, chocolate chips, nuts, cocoa or whatever you like.
- Put on a the ramekins on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes until risen.
- Remove from oven and add any extra toppings of your choice. Enjoy warm from the oven

Variants: Blackcurrant and Almond (NBF Blackcurrant): Add 1 tbsp blackcurrant jam and 1 tbsp crushed almonds, remove vanilla from recipe. Once baked, serve with tsp blackcurrant and slivered almonds.
Strawberry and Banana (TR Strawberry): Replace 1 tbsp of honey with 1 tbsp strawberry jam. Top with freshly sliced banana and strawberry.
Caramel: Replace 1 tbsp of honey with 1 tbsp caramel. Top with some caramel and crushed roasted hazelnuts.
Chocolate and Orange (No peel orange marmalade): Add 1 tsp cocoa powder and 1 tbsp orange no peel. Reduce milk by 20 ml. Top with grated orange peel.
