French Toast with Jam
A weekend breakfast treat
This French toast with an Irish twist. Serve with your favorite Folláin jam or marmalade. It is just heavenly!

2 thick slices Good quality bread2 Eggs (whisked)1 tbsp SugarSplash MilkGrated Nutmeg (if available)1 tbsp Butter (for frying)To serve Folláin Jam of your choice

- Whisk the eggs and sugar together in a bowl that is large and flat enough to accommodate the bread. Add the milk and nutmeg (if using), the mixture should be runny.
- Dip the bread in the egg mixture on both sides and press it down into the egg to soak it up.
- Heat the butter in the pan until it is foaming.
- Fry the bread slices on both sides until golden and puffy. Serve drizzled with lots of your favourite Folláin Jam.
