Ingredients

  • 200g of your favourite granola (opt for one with minimal added sugar)⁠
  • 2 tbsp olive oil⁠
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract⁠
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup (optional)⁠
  • Pinch of salt⁠

Method

  1. Blitz the granola in a food processor until it becomes a smooth butter consistency. This may take a few minutes, but patience is key here!⁠
  2. Slowly add in the olive oil and vanilla extract.⁠
  3. Continue to blend until everything is well incorporated.⁠
  4. Test the level of sweetness, add the maple syrup sparingly, but according to your own preference.⁠
  5. Sprinkle in a pinch of salt to bring out all those lovely flavours.⁠
  6. Store in an airtight jar in your pantry – and just like that, you’ve got a delicious, nut-free spread ready to go.⁠
